SECOND DIGITAL DIVIDEND
WHAT IS THE SECOND DIGITAL DIVIDEND?
The Second Digital Dividend is the process that will displace the television and radio channels located between 694 and 790 MHz (700 MHz band) towards lower frequencies to allow the deployment, in that frequency range, of the 5G communications networks Wireless.
The release of the 700 MHz band constitutes government approval, and it is the governments themselves that grant subsidies to update the TV facilities as long as they are adapted by authorized ICT Type A or Type F installers.
